Title: Storekeeper
Reports to: Operations Manager / Supply Chain Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Storekeeper to manage our spare parts and inventory operations for a fleet of 300+ Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (AWP/Spider Lifts) and Power Generators. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end warehouse process, from receiving and purchasing to issuing parts for maintenance. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our technical team has the parts they need to minimize equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain 100% accuracy of stock levels within the ERP system. Advantage if familiar with the Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
Organize the warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization and fast retrieval of high-turnover parts (filters, hydraulic hoses, electrical
components).
Monitor stock levels and generate purchase requisitions when items reach re-order points.
Coordinate with suppliers to track outstanding purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of critical spare parts.
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy and quality.
Manage the & quot; Parts Issue & quot; process, ensuring every item leaving the store is scanned and allocated to the correct Equipment ID or Job Card.
Assist technicians in identifying the correct parts using manufacturer parts manuals (JLG, Dingli, Platform basket, Caterpillar etc.).
Track & quot; Service Kits & quot; for preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure all necessary filters and lubricants are ready before the equipment arrives.
Maintain organized records of Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Notes, and Issue Vouchers.
Manage the return of core parts or defective items for warranty claims.
Ensure the warehouse meets all safety and environmental standards (proper storage of oils, batteries, and chemicals).
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in storekeeping, specifically within the rental industry, heavy equipment, or automotive sectors.
Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with parts for AWPs (JLG, Dingli, Platform basket) and Generators (caterpillar, Kubota).
Software Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP) is highly preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
Education: in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or a related field.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
